Engineering & Prototyping

Once the design elements are finalized and the project proposal is accepted, project engineering is completed and documented. Finalized 2D engineering files are used to create one or more prototypes of the hardware. Depending on the complexity of hardware, a single prototype may be sufficient in order to proceed with production. However, the process may repeat if the project engineering is revised. In the case of software, this stage includes beta code and some basic user-interface (UI) to validate the application.
